Keychain lights are handy no one will dispute. However, you may ask what use would an ultra violet or UV keychain light be? Well there are many. What seems to be popular now is using them to detect ultra violet inks and markings in documents like drivers licenses, credit and debit cards and currency etc. They are used by employers, bank personel, bar and security personel in casinos etc. Other uses include spotting dog and cat urine and spray stains. This is done by turning out the lights in the room and turning on the UV light and the things you don’t want there will show up by glowing. What other uses can you think of?

Hi Everyone,
My name is Stan, the Key Light Guy of KeyLightguy.com. This is my first blog post and I hope to do many of these over the coming months. The topic of this post is more of a request. I’d like to hear from people about the uses they have found for those handy little lights that are finding their way onto so many keychains. Of course their are the usual uses like finding a keyhole in the dark, lighting the path to the front door or lighting the menu in a low light restaurant. Those are typical uses which make these little lights invaluable but what uses have you found? I’d like to hear from you.
